Frequently Asked Questions
Q.How do I prepare my home for carpet cleaning?
A.Please start by removing/storing any breakable or fragile items away from the areas to be cleaned.  Typically, we will clean around large pieces of furniture, but in some cases we can assist you in moving them to other areas of the home if they are emptied of fragile contents, and time permits.  Please tack any window coverings to at least 6" above the baseboard.
Q.What do I do with my indoor pets?
A.Please see to it that your indoor pets are locked up somewhere comfortable near their litter pan if applicable, and with food and water – away from the areas to be cleaned. Our team of professional carpet cleaners with be going inside and outside frequently and wouldn’t want to accidentally let your family pet out of your home, spook them, or frighten them in any way. The noise involved in the cleaning process is enough to significantly distress most family pets if they are not kept in a safe familiar area away from the activity.
Q.Is it okay to be present during the cleaning process?
A.Absolutely! We encourage you to do so and to point out any particular trouble-some areas prior to our technicians beginning the cleaning process.  However, please make sure that our technicians are free to work in their areas after the process has begun, as uninterrupted as possible. This means, make sure that no third parties such as pets, friends, neighbors are present or walking in or around the cleaned areas until at least 1 to 1 ½ hours after we have finished.
Q.What type of cleaning process do you use? Will my home be wet afterwards?
A.Our technicians use a state of the art "Green Clean" VLM (very low moisture) process which will not soak your floors.  Your floors may be slightly damp but not wet when we have completed our cleaning and you should wait at least 1 to 1 ½ hours prior to beginning foot traffic or returning items or furniture to the areas.
